I have seen firsthand how addiction and related trauma can deeply unravel lives, as supported by research on the impact of severe stressors (Stickle, 2021, p.1448). My professional role centers on supporting those struggling with mental distress and addiction, including children, adults, and families coping with these challenges. I guide clients toward healthier self-perceptions, help them navigate and repair key relationships, and strive to foster supportive networks to facilitate their healing and growth. These clinical encounters have inspired my deep interest in the inner experiences of addiction and the pathways towards recovery.    I am trained in a variety of therapeutic modalities—including Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Transpersonal Psychotherapy, Attachment-Based Therapy, Depth Psychology, Cognitive Therapy of Substance Abuse, Existential Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Process Therapy, and EMDR—to ensure each client receives personalized care. This eclectic background has driven me to examine the diverse experiences and treatment needs of those suffering from addiction. Academically, I am a doctoral student in Depth Psychology and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. My leadership experience includes roles as clinical director at six detox and residential facilities, such as LifeSync Malibu, Rebos Detox, A Giving Tree, Hollywood Recovery Center, New Spirit Recovery, and Phase 2 ATC, as well as serving as founding director of the LifeSync Malibu addiction residential program. Both my clinical practice and academic journey have shaped my focus on understanding addiction’s sources and dynamics, particularly as they manifest in the lives of artists.
